Learn the true story of the Pennhurst State School and Hospital from someone who worked at the Spring City institution from 1969 to 1986, just before it closed in 1987. Greg Pirmann uses vintage photographs used in reports to the Commonwealth during Pennhurst's first 20 years, as well as more later images, many of which were taken be local Spring City photographer, Harold Amster.
